Elias Group secures Grants Support contract with Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services

Elias Group is pleased to announce its contract with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS).  Elias Group will perform a review and analysis of the current grants management process with the intention of positioning CMS as a best-in-practice Federal grant-making agency.

The ultimate goals of the project are to support CMS in building its grants management capacity and maximizing effective resource allocation, resulting in reduced award processing times, standardized business processes, and greater consistency in the administration of CMS discretionary awards.

“CMS is tasked with building a better health care system for all Americans and as such, administers over $9 billion in funding obligations per year toward that goal. We are focused on ensuring Elias Group’s expertise in the grants management arena will translate to helping CMS leadership achieve its vision of a best-in-class organization through business process improvement, operational support and stakeholder training,” said Chief Executive Officer Edward Elias.
